Happy Wednesday to all my new, old, and somewhere in the middle subscribers! This week as you scroll endlessly on Linkedin, or look at your resume for the 17th time and make that tiiiiiiiiny tweak, remember to take a moment for yourself. I like to think of the job search as not just about job searching, but I try to accomplish 3 things everyday.
Learn something. Anything, but discover and read, listen, or experience something new.
Do something for my health. Physical or mental. Ride a bike. Go to the gym. Go for a walk. Talk to a therapist. Whatever it might be, do something for your body and soul to nourish it
Make a step forward in my search. Sometimes it’s something big, sometimes it’s small, but try and inch forward no matter what.
